Well, as it so happened I've just completed the several tokes of my cannabis it requires me to achieve that perfect high and I decided to pop in a movie. I'm about 15 minutes into National Lampoons European Vacation and I've decided that Chevy Chase has to be one of the funniest men on the planet.

Something else that is excellent is having a couple beers with friends. :friends:

WELL............... boy I'm stoned.

Fletch is a great movie, another Chevy Chase masterpiece. Fletch Lives isn't too bad either. I also enjoyed Vegas Vacation. Well, time to go fire up the bong and catalog the rest of the Chevy Chase collection. :joint::joint::joint:

P.S. "Do you want that in the can?" "No, I'll have it right here."

The scene with him and Bill Murray in Caddy shack was written in about 30 minutes. They had the movie finished and edited when everyone realized the two biggest names in the movie don't even have a scene together! So someone rolled up that monster fatty and they proceeded to cannonball.

Chevy also used to play drums for Steely Dan, before they were famous, but left to pursue and acting career.

Two words, CaddyShack!!!!!

With that said, the only movie Chevy Chase did that I couldn't quite grab onto was that one with Dan Akroyd, John Candy and Demi Moore Willis Kutcher, Nothing But Trouble. The potential was there, but it just.....just left me wanting that hour and half of my life back.

I thought it was also interesting that he turned down the roll to play Lester in American Beauty.

Yeah, Nothing But Trouble. It looked good on the previews, and it had the actors to make it good, but...it just really wasn't. When I watch it I just find myself going, WTF???? Kind of a downer really.

Chevy Chase is pretty funny.

However, when I'm ripped out my gourd I always seem to find Chris Farley the funniest.

Speaking of which, about 20 min. ago I smoked a blunt of AK-47 with kief just layered down the whole thing. I should go watch some funny shit, cause I'm pretty fuckin' high now....

I must agree that Nothing but Trouble left me wondering what the fuck just happened, although the scene where they fall into the bone crusher was quite entertaining.

Caddy Shack speaks for itself with its nature, I love any scene in that movie with Chevy in it.

Tarkus: Heard that about Chevy being the drummer for Steely Dan when I saw a show about drummers and they mentioned stars who played the drums.

Well fuck it, time to spark a nice joint. :joint:

Peace and love.

Edit: Kudos to the person who tells me what kind of car they were driving in Nothing But Trouble :muahaha:
