looking nice for 13 days in just looking at you pics here i would remove alot of the spinndelly branchs on the bottom that sre not getting good light, i strip the bottom 2/3 on my hydro plants and they grow back quick, presonally itry for 6-8 nice solid branchs per plant when im doing a scrog or a sog, just a though?, anyways good luck with your first, peace.TS

well, I'm runnin a 600watt full spectrum lamp with a 4 light T5 fixture that i used 6500K lamps to veg and I found some 2700K ( Red) lamps to bloom under, I have 4 strains going in my room I have:
(3)- Black Berrys ( A blue berry and white widdow cross )
(1)- Kasey Jones
(1)- Sour Diesel
(1)- Grand Daddy Purp.
I veged for about a month and just switched over.
As far as venting I ran a inline 240CFM fan in the attic that pulls off my light and from the room, that fan is on 24/7 it goes out the attic vent. I pulled the hose off the vent in the bathroom next to my grow room and so when the house AC is on it cools my room, ( but I dont use that all the time so I had to get a portable ac unit to take over when the house ac is not on. here is a link to my youtube vid so u can check out my room, I also made a vent from under the cabnit so it pulls fresh air from the bathroom.

also please feel free to view my profile and i got some great pics in there as well. and YES THEY ARE SMART POTS ( THE BEST THING EVER INVENTED! and as far as defoliation I am going to give that shit a shot, i still have some of the lower branches so I am going to cut the fan leaves off and let the light through. I look like the best option for a better yeild on the style of growing that i am shooting for. Thanks for the links, That really helped me make up my mind, I will keep you posted on some before and after shots, This prosses will take me a little while because i am not going to remove more that 20% of a plants matter too fast as i think it will shock the shit out of it and will slow things way down so i will give this a shot over the next 10 days and keep u guys posted thanks so much for the defoliation thread link, i have seen it before but it was when i was in too early of a stage and totally forgot about it!! good looking out " !!! " much respect for that link!

yah first grow, I have done this well with the help of ICMAG.com and all the great people here, I read my ass off here, I swear I'm here atlest 3 hours a nite reading!!!

Your fans are ocsillating so I think you are fine, but I would back up the green one a bit. I find that air moving too harshly over the plants seems to stunt them a bit and cause them to unevenly transpire more than ones that are farther away.
Either way for your first grow you are doing better than I did, props to you sir.

1st?!??! Wow, mine did not look this good 1st time around. And as a new grower you decided to use smart pots...so impressive. U must have done so much research in order to have a 1st grow look like this.
