Myself and another member were talking about a Southern Alliance of Cannabis Lovers and I just had to put my ideas here as well.. I believe they could work, anyone who loves their freedom and cannabis should really take this post seriously to mind.. The title was a ruse to get you here, but now that you're here please stay & listen. For such a large group of enlightened, intelligent people we need to open our minds just alittle more and see the big picture.

A Southern Coalition of Cannabis lovers, I've been looking for something like that since I been here. I don't think we'll ever have the lax and freedom as the mid-west & west but this could be a start. We the people really do need to ban together and find a way to get these unjust laws changed. They do such a good job with persecuting us we hide and cower almost in fear of speaking up or trying to ban together for a cause. What happened to the good ole days when people protested in groups. A Million Weed March, right to DC on Bush's front lawn (or wherever the previous marches were held would do). They'd have to hear us then and take us seriously. This shit is ridiculious and I'm almost fed up with the insanity of our supposed free nation. I read about DA's getting arrested just recently for possesion another for cultivating. If we all doing it, we need to ban together and get it legal. If Martin Luther King, gays, etc.. can ban together and make change, why can't we. We're a huge part of the population, OG alone had hundreds of thousands of members. I believe we can but someone has to make the first move. These 215 Propostions are a step in the right direction but we still got a long ways to go. We need change at the federal level, anyone have ideas. I say the Million Weed March should be kicked off. Who seconds it? If millions of American's in one place with one voice saying the samething from all walks of life, they can't deny us then or could they?? I've just been thinking real hard about this issue and I just know it could work. It'd make all the news stations, more people would feel comfortable with coming out about there use if in a group. They can't persecute us all when we stand together. Right now they're dividing and conquering us. One by one, now is the time. We have to fight for our right to live!

That's all I'm gonna say for now, I need a blunt! (Get alittle heated thinking about this hypocrisy) Let's make this happen folks. This day, this forum can be the turning point before its too late for any of us. If someone here has a connect with Hightimes or some other Marijuana publication we could post the details of the march there and eventually it'd grow. There are plenty of celebs who would go and be apart of the fight. Montel Williams, etc. I have faith in this people, if ya love your buds as much as me think of a way you could contribute in the effort. Lets spread the word and get it done. Everyone have a safe and happy grow season..

50 people.. What a huge turn out! lol I think it'd take alittle more than 50 people for the gov't to be shook about this. We need millions, we have millions. How was the Million Man and Woman March arranged by Louis Farrakahn. Don't tell me we need that guy just to organize a successful march. I'm sure with the right publicity we could organize a march just as big if not bigger. If I knew there was a rally in DC I would've gone, maybe more people feel the sameway but don't know or didn't know.

United We Stand remember, after the twin towers fell that's all we heard. Why is it so hard for us to unite on this, and so many of us do it.. I just don't understand!

You know I was just thinking that samething lastnight after I logged off here. Too many stoned, lazy people. The only time they can voice there opinions is behind bars, but when free does nothing. I'm sick of it!

Agree agree. Smokers should become more pro active and get out there and do some good things, like fight for their rights...life is for living not lazing around ( although this is good too, just every so often ). ...Be safe ...Stash

Norml had a table set up with information, pamphlets and cards and such. There was free music. Very nice park, very few cops.
I smoked a joint with some guys from the NORML table, standing right there.

I'm not sure what prompted the Million Man & Million Woman march but can't no cause be more worthy of such a large group of people than getting marijuana legalized. My uncle (R.I.P.) went to the first Million Man March, drove from NY to DC for the cause (whatever it was). I'm willing to do the same for my right to smoke what I want, so as not to be subjected to the nasty nicotine filled cigarettes that are legal killers.. I might smoke a black & mild on occasion if I can't get some bud (gives a alittle headrush towards the end but thats about it). I hate the taste, the feeling, everything about tobacco is just wrong in my book!

This problem can only be solved through voting if some sort of congressional-level proportional system was implemented, that way a pot-party could form and win at least a couple of seats. That isn’t going to happen anywhere near soon either, lol, with the way American politics currently operate.

Those statements right there are exactly why I know a Million Weed March would work, they'd see marijuana is a issue we take seriously and the change will eventually come when they know we're united. It all ties in with my plan one way or another. They figure it's not an issue cause many of us don't do anything, thats the whole point of the march. To strike fear in their beaurocratic hearts were it hurts the most, unity.. cause with unity comes change.

Here's What I'm Toking On..

Here's What I'm Toking On..

This stuff hits you in the back of throught. Has a deep pine flavor and intense body buzz. Had me stupified for a min. forgot how to make the images smaller to be uploaded.. duh!

Well first you should check out my definition on the wigger thing gypsy posted..not all weed smokers are the same. and you need a good front man out there and the people behind him need to be of the same kind of definition.

If you want main stream america to accept us then they first have to not fear us.

right now the goverment puts out ads of rapist and scarry looking huge black dudes in do rags using the product. so right away they think they need protection from the rapist and transfer this feeling to the M.J user.

So unless you got a huge current budget to counter act this type of advertising or a super duper grass roots movement of all nice looking clean cut responsiable americans then it will be a nill chance of happening.

To me this could be done very easy with the right marketing and the right people in the spot light. but as long as movies like super troopers and every other negative movie about weed keeps coming out, and as long as most of these now profesionals remeber their college days and there baked out felony ridden dealer they wont budge.

Change american imagery and cinnema and you can change minds to join you and with enough people joined to you then you can do your million man march.

But thats your starting point brother. Gras roots cause first with the right lookiing people to counter act the current image of a drug user. ( rember they see us as drug using law breaking degenrates) to the point that even if a nice white lawyer uses they look down upon him and ostrocize him.

Good luck man. its got alot of years before any real change is made at the federal level.
