Im expecting some seed's from a fellow grower, the strain is called colorado special. he couldnt give me much information on it beside's the fact he got them from a grower that's been growing them out for year's. I was wondering is anyone familiar with this strain? i'd really like to get more background info on it to give me an idea what to expect. Thank's for your help guy's.

it sounds rather "generic"...I could be completly wrong though. (...and that wouldent mean that its not the bomb bud)

Im in CO for now, and I'm familiar w/ a few of the commercial strains floating around right now:

theres always commercial "NL" around
I've seen "strawberry cough" recently (ft. collins area)...wasnt commercial, but available and costly ($25 bucks a gram)...no cost break for quantity.

"blueberry chronic"...the stuff floatin around that I tried was garbage. (nederland area)

"ak47 x Big bud" fluffy commercial stuff (better than the blueberry C and half the price) (denver area)

"snowcap x jack flash" I'm not familiar w/ either strain, but its def. High grade, hydro, commercial (100 bucks a quarter/ 400 bucks an oz)...probably the best "available" weed in colorado right now. (evergreen area)

maybe others can post what they know is around, but thats all the "avail." stuff I know of.

I know of many different strains of personal grown "head stash" but nothing that sounds like what your looking for.

maybe some others can help.

good luck in your quest.

If I was gonna guess Id say its either bagseeds from possibly the 'cough' or 'cough2' as those are colorado classics as far as commercial dank. Seocnd guess would be its an outdoor ibl from deep in the range like durango area etc, if youre lucky. Like I said just guessin at it, grow em out and find out what you got. good luck, peace.

thanks for stopping by everyone. how's that bud drying humboldt? i remember seeing that in a thread, keep up posted on how is smoke's. inline i wish it would turn out to be a nice ibl from the back wood's of colorado. that mean's i should be looking for pheno variance's. also if it was grown in the colorado climate you know it has to finish early. im going to be growing these outdoor's

here's some shot's of my garden about a week ago. dont mind the date on the camera. teh bigger one is jlp's vbs x ak47. the three smaller plant's are nevilles haze x deep chunk. oh if one of you coloridian's (i think thats what it's called) could remind me of your first frost date. i know the last one is around june right?

i appreciate everyone's help.

I know how it is not knowing if the name of the strain is the legit name or not. I got some "kali mist" seeds 3rd or 4th hand, and I have no idea if it's for real or not. All I know is that they're ALL uniform and mostly sativa(still not super tall thought), and they're all girls(which is something I remember people saying about cultivating mist from serious seed stock). Anyway..sorry for going on about my plants on your thread. I guess what I'm trying to say is that if you're not sure about the name, and can't find concrete evidence to back it up, just hope for great buds. That soil looks nice, so I'm sure you'll have a good harvest. Good luck on those clones, too.
