have you guys heard the crackdown coming on caregivers plant counts? Was published in denverpost.com last friday I think.
Seems like a general crackdown on private grows with large numbers, glad I stay at 1/6 our allowed count at home.

I did a little research. Looks like there will be additional documentation requirements for patients with excess of 6 plant counts. CDPHE/State regulations. No other changes as of yet.

Yes, it sounds like the next thing we need to work on is private grower numbers. It's tough to do side by sides, Or pheno hunts with these small counts.

Yeah, i could keep my personal stash supplied probably with 1 plant tied down and vegged 3 months, but my passion is growing. It's tough having thousands of seeds made from great genetics and only running 6 at a time.

Snow in north Dougco this morn. Posting this mainly to confirm procedure for resizing pics. It also brings up a question: does anyone else use snowmelt water for soil grow? When I began growing a few years ago, I had lots of PH problems that were solved quickly after watering with snowmelt. Also no chlorine concerns and lots of good things for the plants, especially seedlings.

thanks, KS

its scary shit whats happening. they are trying to squeeze home grows out. they want everyone to go to the disp and pay taxes. I went to the meeting. Big money lobbyists are the ones who paid for the bill and who are shoving it through. It is also a hipa violation. They are giving all of our red card files over to a third party agency to "determine" whether we deserve what our doctors prescribed.

IF you care about the caregiver limiting, i URGE you to call at least your representative, and ideally MANY of these reps and voice opposition to the redraft of hb1284 that would limit all patients to 6 plants and all caregivers to 5 patients and 30 plants.
no exceptions.

most likely king and primavera on the legislative audit comittee are behind this.... here's the info on that group:
Senator King 303-866-3077, Chairman;
Senator Guzman (told me she already voted AGAINST, she was very helpful and kind) 303-866-4862, vice chair,
Balmer 303-866-4883,
Nordberg 303-866-2965
Primavera, 303-866-4667
Ryden, 303-866-2942 (democrat)
Sonnenberg, 303-866-3706
Tochtrop 303-866-4863

it's very important to remain calm, polite, and respectful when contacting representatives and senators in my opinion, BUT remain FIRM and be informative because many of them have no idea this is going on. the bill has not been introduced yet, it does not have a number, it is still a "draft", we want this thing to NEVER become a bill, and kill it where it stands.

exactly correct ivatoker. They are crushing the smaller grows. Read the article and they state 2280 caregivers that they are going to 'look at'. wow.
This is making me totally change my spot. It's all good though. like anything, change is inevitable.

ALSO< SB 177 and sb 178 are "drug endangered child" bills and would further de-ligitimize cannabis users as parents.... these bills are even farther along than the cargiver issue, which has no number yet....
there will be a rally at 11pm on captiol steps on this WEDNESDAY april 9th then the hearing on ap177 & 178 will be at 1pm just after the rally. i urge ANYONE interested in fighting these regulations to get involved on wed.

i would like it to be free for everyone who needs it, making money whit medicine what nature have made shouldnt be anyones monopoly.
as medical growers should work for state whit solid salary, and shops would be medical and for fun each own shops.
product would be given from pharmacy/drug stores to medical users what would be highly monitored entire process and then use other shops for fun where sellers and buyers market would define the price and people would them self make decision is it shit or the The shit.

i knew they were going to try this.. to push people away from becoming legit. theyd rather put people in these private prisons.. for stupid shit.. then actually put the real criminals in prison.
