"i am trying to get that effect. only because i can rarely 'taste' the way some people describe. for this i was thinking about adding it the last week of flower, and the first week of flush. then 1 week of just water/flushing agent.hows that sound"

I'm not sure what you mean by "taste" the way some people describe, but I personally think it makes all herb have a very similar taste when sweet is used in conjunction with the flush. Also I've never used a flushing agent either, just plain ph'd water. Imo all the sweet is for is to pack on weight and mildly give the pot a sweet taste to it, if overdone all you can really taste is the sweet.

humboldt honey is not bad....has yucca...for the last week, I use ph'd H20.

as for plants producing trich's/oils in the last week...the plants have a bunch of energy stored in the leaves. that is why when you start to flush and finish her up,she will bring out the 'fall colors' in her from the chlorophyll being used up, thus the yellow/purple hues..the true color of the plant! not the green! less chlorophyll, the smoother the smoke and taste better too...that is why I flush for 2 weeks at least. and I grow organic.. if your using GH I would be flushing thoughout the cycle, to rid of salt buildup. and when I finish the bottle of GH, I would make a switch...

Completely agree with orpanic, pretty spot on. It's just my preference to not use any thing but water the last 2-3 weeks.

this is mainly to pack on added weight, correct?

yeah, ive never really bought into that "sweetener adds taste" aspect of it, but i have noticed that with using it, the calyxes get a nice solid plumpness to them that they retain through drying. a noticeable increase in weight of the buds

kelly, you can use a PH up/down, which ever you need to help correct the PH in a more timely manner...under 15 min.
Yes, just plain old ph'd water.

Hello fellow Coloradoans! I'm out in the denver area and would love to share experiences, clippings etc with any of yall hehe.

In my box:
Flowering:
Mazar i Sharif - hermied :-( 8 weeks into flowering thank god no unintended cross pollination
MDanzig's Fem Blueberry - ~7 weeks in looks gorgeous
NYCDxC99XWW - ~8 weeks in. It didn't like going 12/12 from seed at all.

Veg box:
NYCDxC99XWW - 3 weeks veg and is about as bushy as my blueberry in the flower box

Loved the True Blueberry shots on pg 9 or so. That thing is gorgeous. I love purple strains, I haven't had a chance to grow one yet.

Edit: Picture of my blueberry girl

I am working on a letter template for everyone right now. Also check your ph and check it often. If it goes out of range it slows your grown down. orphanic is right about using ph adjuster. I use it almost every day. Do you have a good ppm meter? I check the ppms every day and add if its needed and then check ph and adjust if needed. nutes can effect the ph that's why I do them first.
