Colltubes and dwc tubs for sale cheap on ebay!!!!

I saw someone put up one of these last week and thought it was the only one after I was outbid. After watching for a few days, I see that they keep getting listed.


$70 cooltube. I am so in. I just thought some of you people here might find it useful, as last time I bought a cooltube I paid $150 for it. This guy also has dwc hydro setups as well. The one listed only fits three netpots, but I emailed the seller to see if there are ones for sale with more spots for plants.

I will post once I get the info.

Actually, I am growing eggplants at the moment. But I find these forums helpful in my hobby due to the amazing resourcefulness and creativity of potheads. I'm sure you know, but hydroponic equipment isnt cheap.

No offense, man. But you can make a cooltube and DWC setup for cheap. Just DIY.

Yup, like almost anything to do with growing, you can build a cool tube way cheaper than buying one. Granted the quality will probably be better in buying it, saving $ is always good.

And those DWC are a rip, I could build a better one for $20.

And by use the edit button, he means write all your crap in one post rather than having about 10 in a row with no replies in between.

Go to Wal Mart. The only thing needed that's not available at Wal Mart is the baskets, and you could wing it with something similar.

I'm positive I could build a DWC setup for $20 or less, would it be better? I don't know, depends on prices. My point is that paying $50 + $15 for something that could easily be built much cheaper is ludacris. This is not an advanced setup were talking about, some guy simply assembled some parts from Wal Mart and is selling it off on ebay with a huge markup. It could at least be shielded from light for that price.

i agree, if you build a dwc yourself it would be better because you would know what you have, unlike buying a "cooltube" off ebay and getting a crappy $7.00 candle cover from a craft store with some duct tape holding it to a couple of $5.00 duct reducers, all for only $70.00 plus shipping
