College BB

Did anyone watch #1 vs #2 last night? It's hard to believe the Vols are #1 right now. Bruce Pearl is the man, he's a damn God in K-ville right now! Damn, it feels great to be a Vol! Best men's team in school history, baby!!! Gotta throw some love to the Lady Vols, too. Pat Summit is the best women's coach is women's history... Most wins ever in the NCAA! That speaks for itself. UT-K easily has the best bb program in the land as of today. Go Vols!

Anyone have a fav. college bb team??

I'm not a Vol's fan, however, I went up to Knoxvillle for the 1984 FL. vs. TN. football game at Neyland Stadium and I will say this, those Vol fans know how to do the wave. A sea of 100,000 orange fans doing the wave was enough to make an old Popey sea-sick.

amoS, UNC vs UT would be one hell of a game! Pearl turned a mediocre men's program into a powerhouse in under 2 years... If Pearl never leaves, Tennessee turns into a men's bb powerhouse...

trouble, Neyland stadium/game day experience makes for a crazy time. I went in '97 and the roar of the crowd when TN scores is something you never forget. It was almost too loud. I bet you learned Rocky Top before the start of the 2nd qutr. UT vs UF might be the loudest Neyland ever gets

I will confess that Neyland Stadium is an exciting place to watch a game, however, I first heard Rocky Top in 1971 in the piano bar at Pat O'Briens when all the Tennessee Fans where in town for the Sugar Bowl against Air Force. That must be the only song they know up there in Tennessee, I bet they even sing it in thier sleep.
