One of the best ever rally drivers the world has ever seen. Driving for 30 years over some of the most dangerous tracks and courses and gets taken down in a helicopter with his son and two family friends. If there is a god he sure takes the good ones for himself.

yeah Colin was a great driver and will be sadly missed
he stayed about 20 miles from where I live and I'd seen him out in the town a few times
and doing local charity events

Wow. What a loss. I remember watching him finish a race with no rear axle, it was crazy! Another time he made his navigator sit on the outside corner of their car, to balance out a missing wheel. WTF?!?! The guy was one-of-a-kind. He will be greatly missed by all.

wow this was very sad to read, the guy was a tremendous competitor and extremely professional, i haven't been watching WRC lately but he was definitely one of my favorites to watch, no fear and such skill, what a tragedy
