Coconut Oil question

Hello everyone

I have a question regarding Coconut Oil and cooking. When following a recipe for making thc oil and the recipe calls for let's say one cup of coconut oil, is the recipe referring to the coconut oil in it's solid form, or liquid form? My guess is the solid has to be cooked down, and then a one cup measurement poured, but I am not certain.

Thanks for the help - J

This comes up a lot
It is usually a liquid measure reference
Any kind of heat that is applied melts the hardened oil easily, even room temps

1 cup of liquefied coconut oil is 218 grams
Sometimes grams are easier and more accurate to measure

Another thing I learned is that it is easier to infuse a lot of mg into a little coconut oil (quarter of a cup)
Adding a teaspoon of infused oil does not change a recipe very much if at all
Lots of coconut oil can challenge your GI tract

Thank you thank you - I figured it was probably liquid, but wasn't certain.
