Here is my current setup for those looking for do-it-yourself drain to waste setups.
Once hand watering and shopvac-ing the runoff got old, here's what I did:
For runoff tables, I constructed tables using 2x4 's and plywood, with 1x2's around 3 edges to give me a little border. I then covered the tables with pond liner and used some adhesive spray to bond the wood to liner ( I left an extra lip on the side of the liner where there is no border wall to connect to my gutters). I built the legs last to give me a slight slope ( you can also purchase leg adjusters to make this part easier).
For my drainage system, I constructed a network of pvc pipe that runs along my tables in my bloom room, into my veg room and out to a drain. (Having a slope of 1/4" per foot for good drainage). Where the tables meet the pvc gutters, I cut the pvc in half where the top was exposed. I then put the extra lip I left on the liner into the pvc gutter and gave it a bead of silicone adhesive.
Now when I water, the runoff flows down the sloped table into my pvc gutters and flows directly to my drain. Also, if you ever want to check ph or ppm of a pot, just put a tray below it. You can also use this pvc gutter system with premade trays but I'd rather get the enjoyment of doing it myself.
P.s. I also have my dehumidifiers hose draining into the gutter system to kind of keep things neat and prevent salt buildups.
