coco nutrients

Stone Skunk

I'm just getting started growing and have decided to go with coco coir. I need to know the bare minimum I can get by with because I am on a budget. What nutrients to I need and what can I get away without? I was looking at the Canna line, what of those would I need, the A&B and the PK13-14? I basically need to know the cheapest way to do this.
Thanks

I'd add Rhizotonic to the bare necessities, growing totally with all Canna products isn't the cheapest way of growing, but if you're going to do it, a good root system is essential.
Plus your funds maybe a little better when it's time to use the PK.

Best of luck.

In all honesty; I can't comment on the strengths or weakness's of other products.
Like maybe, yourself? I did a lot of research, and arrived at the same conclusion.

Rhizotonic (Root-tonic) is what it says, it builds-up the root system.

I could 'rabbit on' about Cannazym, and the amounts of PK but, I think these three basics 'nutes' will get you a decent\reasonable crop.

Again, good luck with your grow.

im using flora nova i got the grow and the bloom
those 1 liter bottles are going to last me through 4 grows
and i just found out u can just use the bloom formula if u want
and i paid $24 for each bottle, and with this u can get a dope grow with no additives
ive seen people on this board do it

Rhizotonic is great, cannazyme is the best enzyme on the market...

AN Makes monkey juice specially made for coco....dont buy it...

do you grow in pure coco? if not whats your perlite/coco ratio?

I have 2 plants growing in 80% coco 20% perlite, i didnt have enough perlite otherwise it would be 50/50...I use my usual nutes i use for everything, iguanojuice bloom, mycorizal fungi, voodoo juice :headbange , big bud and overdrive...I am getting some yellowing on the edges of my leaves and one of the plants has very spindly buds....its pathetic(and hermi), the plants right next to it is doing perfectly fine, other than being raped by the plant next to it...thats what i get for having a hermi 3 inches from a flowering female...2 lone seeds...

yes the flora nova bloom is a pretty solid 1 part nutrient for veg and bloom. If using RO water then cal mag is a must for veg and some strains want it in flowering too. Or you can even use the gh 3 part. Im running the lucas formula in bloom and a little more micro in veg.

If using a salt based fert like the GH lines flushing every week is a good idea. You dont need to...but you might need to...proactive. :D
