coco nute strenght

I have a couple of strains doing ok in coco. I just tested my nute solution and I don’t think its enough food for the girls.

canna a+b and canna pk 13-14
Here is how I do it. 2ltr bottle of tap water. Then I add 5ml of the a+b and I get EC 0.8 or 560ppm
Then I add 3ml of the PK and it goes up to 0.9

Should I make it stronger?

Hi Bro,
I veg my clones for 3 wks and then put them into flower, and most of my strains get a peak ec in flower of 1.4ms/cm, with the exception of White Widow which only gets 1.2ms/cm. So if I had to guess I'd say you could stand to bump it up a few notches.

thats close to double strenght. hmmmm
ok i added 3ml of a and b and 2ml of the pk 13-14 and its up to 1.1
i have two weeks till harvest so we will see how it goes

edit: i aslo just had a lil search and i read:
When the plants get big, two foot or more, you can gradually increase the feed strength over a few weeks, up to a maximum of cF 18 - 24
1.8 - 2.4

holy shit. no wonder the girls look hungry. thats 3 times my strenght

With only a week left to feed and 1 to flush are you sure you want to Bump the feeding Up? I'd hate to hear you fried your plants at this Late stage. How about trying the stronger nute solution on the Next grow?

i dont flush. i feed till the last moment and water cure :wink:
but your right, i will experiment next grow when i can cope with a loss if anything goes wrong.

Hi jjfto that is way too weak..and at what stage are you using pk13/14? go to the canna website and you can print off a grow guide www.canna-uk.com this will giove you the info you need to get the best results from their stuff...peace

ahhhh good stuff Dr. D Just what i needed.
I have two weeks to go so iam using the pk 13-14 now and instead of a flush for the last week i will feed just nutes and no pk. then water cure.

are u using reverse osmosis water or very soft water? my waters 0.6 ec and after adding 5ml of a+b to 2litres of water i get an e.c of 1.4 ,,,,i was just wondering if your metre is calibrated right because of how low ya reading is coming out

Canna nutes suck ass... next time try some Advanced Hydroponics of Holland and you will see things that Canna cant compare.

i'm not the biggest canna fan but the cana coco is not bad at all !!!

i use ecolizer now and start my clones at 1.2-1.3 and i go up to 1.9-2.0 with the jack herrer on coco slabs.

i flush once at obout 3 weeks of bloom.

hazyfontazy I think you may be on to something. I have a factory-calibrated truncheon that I just got for nothing. But I get 0 reading when I try to test plain tap water. Weird.
That’s how this whole thread started. I tested my solution and it seemed a lil low. Now I know why.

Yeah Growdoc on my next trip the hydro shop I was going to pick up a 3-part formula. Advanced Hydroponics of Holland may be a bit hard to find in Australia. Already had a search.
