Canna?

there are lots of great brands of coco such as canna which has got to be one of the most popular.

I use coco tek & it says low salt content on the package. But I've only been using it a few months & so far no problems. In fact great results so far.

Thanks for the heads up though, good info to keep in mind.

yeah, i rinse my coco with ph adjusted water before i use it and on a regular basis( like once a week or 2)..while the plants are growing in it.

If your putting seeds into coco its best to water it with ph 5.7 or 5.8 water, but they said its perfect for putting cuttings into right out of the bag. Bc if your using bricks of coco, you would have to prewater it anyway.! hope this helped a little

i use plain canna coco with a hint of perlite , with cannas coco nutes ,rhizotonic as a root stim an either canna pk or vita buddy as flower booster

never get problems with coco really ,apart from branches bending or breaking under the weight lol

just ask your local grow shop...im sure they will have some kind of coco...(either bags of premoistened or bricks of coco that needs to be watered first) and i just mix mine with about 40% perlight.

Ii use PBP (pure blend pro) nutes, and add a little diamond nector in veg...and GH fluralicious bloom enhancer during flower. Flush them with plain ph adjusted water once per 2 week, and 4-5 days before harvest.

Yeah i get it in bricks. It says add 5 litres of water but i run at least 10 through it. %100 coco from seed produces buds like that <---- i love the stuff

Take a 20 litre bucket (5 gal) and fill it up and add a brick of coco.. wait 5 mins and mix it arround. You will see a whole bunch of foamy shit gather on the top of the water.

I buy the Botanicare CocoGrow....I rinse it, but I see no salt residue when I do. It says it is ready to plant, so I'm sure it's already rinsed through a few monsoon seasons. It is easily one of the better priced ones here in the US also.

Cheers,

I recently switched to Botanicare's coco to go with the PBP, and it says that the coco has bat guano already mixed in..and it already has perlite in it...very simple stuff. Previously, i used bags of cannacoco...and all have worked just fine.

I've gotten great results using GH(general hydroponics)3 part and Botanicare (PBP, and 3 part) nutes from coco.

A pH adjusted flush water question

A pH adjusted flush water question

Flush them with plain ph adjusted water once per 2 week, and 4-5 days before harvest.

I use canna a+b in cocotek baskets w/a recirculating drip system. In final week and have been flushing for several days. What is the proper straight water pH adjusted # for these ladies ? It is no longer recirculating once I started flushing......

Thanks all in advance...............

...The coco is the way to go .. i would go with the bio bizz , or the canna coco though B'CUZZ some of the off brand cocos aren't washed right and don't dry out so your plants will be mad.... :dueling:

When flushing with ph adjusted water go with a PH of 6.0 for most strains...but anywhere from 5.8 -6.4 is acceptable! keep rockin that coco
