COCO grower needs advice......

Hi all.......

Im new here and have been growing in coco coir for about 12 months now......I'm still relatively new to all of this.....started w/ some ww's then was given a sour saver, straw diesels and some heavenly females from a buddy and tried to clone them in AN's "clone it" and the stuff was bad and i lost all the cuts.....then i went out and got some kush haze, basic kush, and ak seeds. Has anyone ever grown the kush haze or basic kush? I have recently expanded and have too many cuts for what i need but i have two 1000W hps lamps and a 400 MH switchable. I'm trying to get to the point where i can harvest every month......I have 3 giant Kush Hazes now and 2 large AK's...w/ a weak azz haze plant...and 3 other plants from bagseed...all under a 1000w hps. Is this too many plants? Also this weekend im going to fire up the other 1000w hps so as i can start to flower ten 12 inch Kush Hazes and Ak's. Then i have a veg room w/ a 400 mh and just put my latest 10 kush haze cuts under today. I use all AN nutes for flower:
MJ a+b, B-52, Sensizyme, Voodoo juice(unreal!!!), Barricade, AN's calmag version, Pirana, Tarantula, Big Bud, Sweet leaf, Emerald shaman, Collosial bud blaster, and an awesome product called bushmaster to keep from streching the 1st 2 weeks of flower and also gravity(haven't tried yet). I use 2 gallon pots and hand water 3x/wk. Can i flower 10 plants under a 1000w hps at 10-12 inches high? I also topped earlier to get the 4 cola effect. I have so many questions about alot of stuff......my previous harvests have been plentiful but some guys on here are crazy and talk about harvesting 8z's per.......the most i ever got was 2.5 z's off 1 of 5 in a 3x3 hydrohut under a 1000w hps.........this next harvest w/ the ak's, bagseed, and kush haze(4 weeks away) will only probably get 2z's per.........I need all the help i can get......also does anyone know how long to flower the kush hazes? I just popped 3 basic kush seeds and all is well.....i just dont know much about these strains except for they take forever to finish......Any advice about anything i wrote would be much appreciated.............Also i need a good seed bank to order from...(my buddy just ordered from Nirvana and all was seized by the guys in Chicago).......SUX

Ah first off you stole my handle! JK just don't give it a bad name! I woud say 75 days on those khaze but watch them and you will see when their ripe. 10 plants under a 1000watt is fine so long as you gots da room about 3 square feet per plant. Seedbanks well I have always raved about seedsdirect but my most recent order never arrived nor did a customs note and no email so...first 3 orders were good. B oz per plant takes some serious LST.

You shouldn't be using the Cal-Mg with MJ.

I ran 9 per table topped last run, and it worked out pretty well. I wouldn't run 10, but 9, 3 x 3.

Those are a good size for flower now. Much taller and they will get out of control. If you are going to use the Bushmaster, you might want to grow them out a bit more first. Bushmaster reduces the potency though, so you might want to consider that before using it.

Invest in a camera. Posting pics and having a grow thread is a great way to get advise and help with any problems you might have. You should be able to pull 1lb per light no problem with the AK. You could actually do more, like 30ozs with a little fine tuning, but I would shoot for 1lb at first.

And you don't need all the crap. Ditch the Sensizyme for sure. You don't need that crap unless you're having root problems or reuse your coco. Ditch all the Emerald/Collosal/Sweetleaf crap too, IMO.

Thanks for the input Ver and 20kw.....20kw....i have a decent 8x10 room now to flower w/ 2 1000's....i ditched the hydro hut for flowering....it was too small for what i want.....so can i add some more cuts underneath the new 1000hps along w/ the 10 i just put in there? Pics to come..........thanks again! Vermonster....i won't give this name a bad name or should i change my name to Champ for the lake monsta........

Yes, but give the larger ones more room. Say you have 10 plants, but only one light, you might want to put 8 in there, say 2 x 4 over the side of one table, then the smaller ones you would want to put more of in the other 2 x 4 area, more like 18, 3 x 6.

But if you only have 10 large and more smaller ones coming, you might want to do 9 large under 1 table, then 25 or 36 under the other table. You shouldn't use BM on smaller clones though. Give your veg another week if you are going to use BM, to makes sure your canopy is fuller. BM stops the veg growth pretty much, so if your canopy isn't filled in somewhat, it won't really fill in. The plants still definitely grow, it's just different, as I'm sure you've found. I really wouldn't use that stuff though until you get a better grasp on things and your yields go up a bit.

Hi all,

Finally was able to upload these pics.....ty for the previous advice all who contributed.....I took the advice and vegged for another week and now i'm ready to throw into flowering.....i have 6 under 1 and 9 under the other...both 1000w hps....like i said before i have these in 2 gallon pots and would like to yield 3 zips minimum per......can this be done w/ 9 plants under a 1000w hps vegged for 3 weeks?
