coco alone has no nuts in it so I don't think you can burn any plant from coir alone... I think you need to feed that plant as legit suggested.

yeah man, when did you plan on feedin? Nice roots are there to suck up food and if you have not given any yet it'll start eating what's in the leaves, starting from the bottom up which I think is what you're seeing.

thats was my other guess...that it was living off its leaves.... I just burned a bunch of plants right into 12/12 so now im weary of feeding...they just got some PBP GRO :)

If you never gave nutrients to your plant you should begin now!!!! There is absolutly nothing to eat for the plant in your coco so it's like trying to live with only drink water.....you will be in a bad health after 15 days....(and probably nervous too...:))) )
I think you have overwatered your plant too (perhaps by thinking your plant needs water when the firsts signs of the defficiency appeared....wrong way....)

So let the soil dry a little and when it will , water your plant with a poor NPK solution(pH 5.8, EC : 0.8 ms) and don't forget minerals too (depends of your nutrients, look what kind of minerals you have in it : the more minerals you have , the best it will....)
You could probably find the right quantities (cuttings or seedlings mix) on the web site of your nutrient "mark"
nb: the yellowing old leaves and the light green color of the plant is the symptom of a lack of nitrogen
Good luck
Have a nice day

I think it is potassium deficiency. Burning margins of bottom leaves is a sign plus we know it has not received any fertilizer. Needs to be fertilized like everyone has suggested.

If that is Profit disks, and thats what it looks like, they have an EC of 1.8 so flush that shit!! It could be both High EC in the coco and potassium def. Coco is notorious for having high EC so flushing before use is important and it its def. in K and Mg Alot of people treat their coco with calmag before planting. good luck
Peace..

I've done the same....As darkstar said...you HAVE to flush. Next time, if you can try canna coco or b'cuzz straight out the bag. I've never had a problem with it. The blocks are simply a pain man. Good luck with your grow.

yeah..its seems like a good buy,but its the old addage, "you get what you pay for". Nice to see a fellow coco user though. Definitely put her on some kind of nutrient cycle though bro. Have you flushed it yet?

Your drainage will be DARK brown but should be pretty clear. Flushing it at this point might help, but it takes a hell of a long time to flush it without overwatering your baby. Plus that brick shit holds water much longer than normal coco. Again...good luck man.

Rinsing coco coir is a MUST. Most coir (especially cheaper brands) brands are packed with salts that can do harm to your plants. Go ahead and measure the TDS of the runoff for your self you'll be surprised how much salt is in unrinsed coir.
