Restaurant supply or welding supply shops will have them. Unless you're doing a sealed microgrow with AC, don't mess with anything smaller than 20lb tanks...it's not worth the hassle of taking them back for refills every week.
I see that they sell these beer compressor things.. is this what i need to release the Co2 in the air? Or what do i need for the tank? I found a 20 pound one for about 100 bucks!
I just now got back from filling my 20 lb propane tank, every 15 days at 15 bucks,a dollar a day to keep my 8 by 8 room around 1200 PPM with a generator. Before using it halfheartedly with paintball cannisters and such you'd be better off getting a generator or tank and regulator which are the only 2 ways you'll get any noticable effect at all.And even then you want perfect environmental conditions, dehumidifier and 80-85 degrees at the canopy, everything has to be righteous for co2 to be of any benefit at all.Its not like if you add some it wont hurt and may help.It wont hurt and wont have any effect
I can tell you co2 from a tank goes quick! Be prepared for that tank to run dry quick. Good luck as I'm working on a co2 system myself. A much bigger headache then I thought it would be. Good luck.
Just a note not trying to freak anyone out. This comment was made to my bro when picking up my cylinder. A gent cam ein to pickup his cylinder, in and out bam bam. The guy looked at my bro and said"That guys in here every 3 weeks filling that cylinder for the last few months. Makes me wonder if he's growing marijuana." Somebody must of pointed out our routines for him to view a paying customer that way. Mix up your routine when filling your tank. Try to find multiple places so your not noticed as a grower.
