CO2, When, How Much, How Long???

Hey IC Community! I need to know when to start flooding the room with CO2? Should I start the CO2 in the seedling stage, or wait for veg? How much should I use? I have heard 1100 PPM to 1500 PPM, I am confused! How long should CO2 be administered? I think I read someone say to stop using CO2 during flowering, & I have also heard to use it during flowering. I am clueless, any1 know the answers to these tricky questions? Thanks & Peace, SW

Hey SW, howzit? rather than type all this, link to here; www.greenair.com/co2-generator.htm they'll give you a general explanation. I run Co2 only when plants are 12"s, as earlier room ambient co2 seems to provide enough, as I vent in outside air. Once at 12" I would go into bloom and raise the levels to 1500ppms and as budset gets intense, to 1800, after growth slows I reduce co2 to 1000ppms till the last 10 days or so to 700. It does little good to add high rates as the growth is over and maturity only remains. Some will cut it off completely but the plant still needs co2 to finish its life processes, imho.

one other thing to note... you only need to run your CO2 when the lights are on. It is used most when plants are absorbing light energy.
