Co2 Regulator Question

Okay I just pickedup a tank and it had the regulator on it (craigslist) i didn't bother to remember to ask how to get the regulator off.... and if the tanks needs to be empty when you do that that info would be nice.... what part do you unscrew i imagine you need a wrench correct?

What size tubing do you use to hook up to the outlet?

Sorry for the stupid questions hell I feel bad asking them but trying to be safe with compressed gas cylinders yah know?!

1/4 tubing to the outlet at least on mine....you'll need a wrench that is 1 an 1/8of an inch.......unscrew the bolt that hold the regulater to the valve off the co2 tank...peace az

okay this kinda freaked me out i plugged it in to see if work heard a whoosh sound and then pressure went to zero but tank isn't empty it was on 40 psi before i plugged in. what does this mean that it sent to zero? There's a screw on there says "pressure adjustment" looks adjustable with a flat head. Anyway making sure I'm doing this right ? sshould i open main valve increasure pressure and plug in or what please help not trying till i get advice well not trying again that is!

when you crank her on you will her a whooshing nosie as the regulater get pressure...there should be a glass beaker looking thing with dashs an numbers beside them...that is the foot per hour rating an yes if set to 0 nothing will come out..depending on growroom size an shape an deminision you can adjust it as nessecery....i have a big room so i just set mine to 2 an run it for 8 hours till i hit a constant 1500....peace az

it's making like a knocking sound and still at zero that's when i plugged in and you can hear a humming. I guess this normal for unit I have main valve open plugged in and the gauge was at zero. Should I get a screwdriver adjust pressure with it on? or does it matter? I'm trying be safe ? Why was it reading at 40 before I plugged it in and now at zero?

fuck tried adjusting it and pressure didn't move and i didn't hear that whooshing sound like when i first plugged in what am i doing wrong ???? is the tank empty or some retarded shit .....it doesn't feel empty... HELP

as long as thats the pressure relase gauge an not the co2 tank internal pressure gauge..on my unit it looks like a beakers upside down on the top of the reg...if you could find a pic or link to what yours looks like then i could be of better help....i adjust mine when its on .....peace az
you defently could have an empty tank....is it one of the aluminum 20 pound co2 tanks...if it is prefilled it ways 25pounds an holds 20pounds for a total of 45 pounds....there should be anouther regulater gauge that has colors like green white an red....green if ful white is mid an red is low to empty...hope this helps
