CO2 in the last month of flowering?

I'm getting a solenoid this week, already have a tank. Plants are at day 28 flowering. These are 6-8 week strains. Will CO2 this late make a difference in yield?

Also, when getting my canister filled, should I have an excuse as to what I'm using the CO2 for ready? If so, what's a good excuse?
