CO2 Heat and Day/Night Temperature Difference HVAC Pro?

My basement growroom has one register going into it which is on the house thermostat ac/furnace.
In the summer i need it open during lights on and closed during lights off to keep my diff in check.
In the winter i need closed during lights on and open during lights off to keep my diff in check.
Can i use one of these so i don't have to manualy do it?

How do i wire it up? Do i just plug one of these into a timer?

Any HVAC guys out there know how these automatic damper things work? Am i going about this the right way or am i missing something here?

It will work but you need 1 of these to go with it

I came across this manual. Seems like a little more advanced setup with the thermostat.

That will work also. You can use a 3 prong extension cord to power the trans former.

The transformer has black, red, white. Which one is hot, ground, neutral?

Tape off the red wire, Black is hot White, is neutral and they use the housing for ground. You only use the red wire for 220 volt input.
