My room is about 400sqft and i am currently using a tank, but I have been getting hasseled where i fill what im using it for. so im looking at generators and am leaning towards the green air generators. I dont care for the water cooling option and dont wanna pay up the ass. I just want a good reliable small generator that wont burn my house down. What do you guys think, i have seen cap, blueprint, minigen, greenair, and a couple others.

That's what I was looking at. They are a little pricey though. My hydro shop marks them up $100 more than anyone on the web

I think both mine r sentinels....there isnt a whole lot to them..
Id think they are probably all made at the same factory.. But idk?
One works fine the other has a wicked high flame off one of the burners but havent tried to fix it yet

I've been looking lately and it looks like I'll go with a Titan 4 burner(12x13 room)LP on sale for $229.

Can't see that it would benefit me in any way to pay more for a Green Air, though to be fair I have used and been very happy with G.A. stuff in the past.

what i like about the sentinel is you can set how many burners you want to use, I believe. Not sure if you can do that with others.

anything but hydro innovation's hydrogen pro. thing is a piece of shit. if ur going with water cooled just buy a cheap tankless water heater on ebay.

I already bought a green air co2 generator off ebay for $250. Not bad considering my shop wants $500 for one.

Yeah I have seen those, I don't trust they would get the ppm up to 1500 though. Maybe ill try it and monitor the ppm for a little experiment.

Vein....I'm in the same boat you are...found a thread earlier about this...bobblehead talks about his unit...

"You can also purchase a portable hot water camp generator at camping world for a fraction of what the ass hats at water cooled are selling for!
My marey water heater I got on ebay works great. Check it out.

I think I bought a 1/4hp flojet. You need 3/4" garden hose to go with it. I spent $60 on the high temp stuff to find out the genny never runs long enough to really be concerned. The marey is $120 vs. $300 for a hydrogen, and they're the exact same thing. EXACT SAME THING. The hydrogen has been modified to have a cord instead of batteries, and some other unnecessary things you can do on your own if you want.

Just type in marey water heater on ebay, and pick the cheapest one. Mine is 36k btu, more than enough for my space.
exact same thing...buy the one with the 3 knobs or pay hydrogen 300% markup...

and you don't even need to have water hooked to it?
does the marey hook up to a Co2 monitor/controller without
modifications?

i'm gonna be doing co2 soon and this sounds like a tweety bird deal.. cheep cheep cheep

The igniter is activated by water pressure... So you do need water... Being why I bought a flojet pump and hose. A 500gph pump isn't gonna do it, you need tap pressure or better. The pump or solenoid is plugged into the CO2 controller. Flow is controlled based on CO2 levels."

Hope that helps

I paid 279 for a hydrogen 2 years ago still burning clean only thing i have updated is the ingnition system ,3 time restrike and 110 volt no more batt.i run it drain to waste
And it produce almost no heat .And yes you can have a marey for less on ebay .I just
Bought it at my hydro store easyer for me .I will also recommend instal some kind of water filter
This will prolong the life of the heat exchanger.
