CO2 generator advice

Been considering buying a 4 burner generator for a 15x15 room and the only thing holding me back is the heat generated by these devices. This is going to be a winter grow in the basement where its generally around 65 70 degrees tops. Its impossible to ventilate so the next best thing is to supplement with co2. Now my question is how much heat do these put out? Do they run for 5 minutes and stop for an hour or are they near constant...the room will be somewhat sealed with blankets over the door ways. I dont know anyone personally who has a generator to check it out and with a dehumidifier on top of it putting out heat I dont want all of this creating some 100 degree nightmare, wasting 500 dollars for a controller and 4 burner. Any input would be great!

heat is negligible with mine,
my burner is is an outdoor propane hot water heater,
same thing as a $300+ aqua gen, I paid $115
it's on for 30sec average.
the Co2 burner i looked at was $450... the $$ i saved with the outdoor HW heater
let me buy a nice quality green air SPC-1

here's a calculator for your room size, to burner size on time etc etc

I use a green air CD-6 mounted on the wall as close to the ceiling as you can without it being a fire hazard. The heat rises as the co2 falls, the heat on my cd-6 in an 8 by 8 room is really nothing. Now the dehumidifier is a different story.I'd like to mount that prick high on the wall lol

If heat is an issue for your Co2 burner a lot of guys use those instant hot water heaters. Basically you just run it without the exhaust duct hooked up and that is your source of co2. To combat the heat what you do is install a water solenoid valve and whenever the burner is running you run tap water through those coils in the unit and then to a drain. If your worried about wasting water then you can get a reservoir and chiller.

Heat problems with a co2 generator

Heat problems with a co2 generator

Man a 4 burner in a 15 by 15 room besides being perfect will cause you basically zero heat problems.I run a 2 burner in an 8 by 8 pretty much equivalent and the heat is nothing.Like I said mount it high on a wall,I got mine maybe 2 ft from the ceiling. If its not setting your ceiling on fire you know you didn't mount it too high lol.You should go for it bro co2 generator,a controller, and R/O water has changed my harvests so fuckin drastically I'm beginning to think someone up there likes me lol

like gnome said... if you are concerned about heat, just get an on demand type water heater.

the heat is exchanged with a flow of water. the heated water can be dumped where ever you like, including back into your houses hot water heater, or even into a hot water storage tank ganged onto your hot water heater.

thanks for all the advice, ill probably be going ahead with it but not until next year. still tweaking my organics recipe and want to have that dialed in before supplementing with co2. for now ill just have to pump in fresh air with 50 freaking feet of aluminum ducting
