Well I got my green air generator hooked up and I noticed the plants are doing horrible now. I believe its because the co2 is getting up to 2500ppm at night from the standing pilot. Can this hurt the plants? I wish I would have got a electronic pilot now.
It`s not the pilot light Bro......Plants eat CO2 during lights on and shit out what they didn`t use during lights off along with excess RH , thus the elevated ppm`s.....now.....
If yas can set up an exhaust on timer for getting rid of excess CO2 AND increased relative humidity during lights off , it`ll go a long way in dialing your setup to prevent the possibility of airborn pathogens forming during late flower when transpiration increases exponentially as the plants swell......and yeah.....
If you`ve got a sealed room it`s supposed to be all yas need , but dialing environment by every and all means necessary is what`s needed for each individual garden , and all setups differ due to size differential , watts per sq ft used , and geographic location......anyways.....
Well wouldn't adding an exhaust make it not sealed? Even when the exhaust is not on I constantly loose co2 when lights are on. I have a dehumidifier and air conditioner.
So heres an update, I hooked up my bottle co2 and the plants perked back up. Ever since I switched to a generator I have problems. I have a carbon monoxide detector in the grow room but it never goes off. So maybe a propane leak in the room?.... I noticed the burner on the cd-6 green air generator sometimes would flare up for no reason.
