still looking at options for adding co2 to the room.
being the room is sealed,
no venting
6kw of lamps how much extra heat and Rh gets dumped from the natural gas gens?

they also dump a lot of moisture in to the room when gas burns.
another by product along with Co2.
Ive seen a house on natural gas, on a cold nite when you can see the water vapor from your breath,
one can look at the roof stackout for the gas heater
and when its running the steam coming out looks like a choo choo train's smoke stack chuggling along.
i know lots of people use them but I'm i the deep south where Rh
is usually up there year round

How big is your room? How many plants? In my 7x11 room, I use a 10# tank. It lasts about a month. A 10 lb. tank is small/lite enough that I can put it in a document box w/attached lid, and carry it in and out of my house in front of the neighbors. Cheaper than a burner, no heat nor humidity. Good luck. -granger

hi granger,
room is 20 x 14 10ft of head room
plants#s will average 50-60.
I'll need a 50lb tank i think if i go that route, probably will.
but i have nat gas already on site and i know it would be much easier and probably cheaper too.

I live in the heat and use a propane burner in an 8 by 8 room, you mount the burner high on the wall and the heat rises, now a dehumidifier running during lights on causes me much more heat than the burner

how many Watts you running phillty?

floridian, I down here with you, during the day the lamps would probably negate the humidity is the way I understand it... and at nite when the plants dump they're unused Co2 is where you need the dehuey the most.

sounds like the gas Co2 gen may be the way to go.
nat gas has to be cheaper than bottled Co2
its more convienent for sure!

gas co2 is the way to go forsure! but they produce a decent amount of heat , so your ac better beable to handle 6 lights np aswell as dehuey and co2 , other wise it will make ur room hotter forsure!

good luck!

there are water cooled CO2 gennys aka chinese water heaters they might be the ticket for you
FWIW a 50lb CO2 cylinder weighs around 270lbs when filled

Hydro-Gen water cooled CO2 Genny is the shit . . . hardly any additional heat generated in the room. they are somewhat pricey but worth it imo...
