CO2 from Green Pads

No, it comes out to like 36$ a month including shipping. Im just not sure if it can realy keep the CO2 levels high enough.

I used something similar as a friend had some sitting around. I used them in a small, 4'x4' tent grow and I would say they are not worth the money or the hassle. If you're going to start worrying about CO2, do it right. I mean, think about it - you would pay for a real CO2 system in what? 2 months? 3 months? And you would actually have way more control...

Well either way you are continually paying for CO2. But I would rather pay more upfront for actual results and control. I hate wasting my time and money, thx for the insite LlamaSchool.

IMO if you going to run CO2 you may need make the financial commitment and do it right. Sealed (airtight as you can get), insulated, with a digital controller operating your tank/generator. Save your money and do it right and you'll get he best use out of the technology and the plant itself.

Spasticgramps is right, I started a thread in growroom designs on CO2 setups, check it out and you'll find the info on the setup you need.

Well if you don't want to waste money, steer clear of those pads.
Once activated they give off CO2 continually, both day and night. Since the plant cannot use CO2 during it's dark period there is a major waste built into them.

We tried them 4x4x8 room.. meter read from 850 to 1300
the babies loved them.. they were droopy then they stood straight up. several stores have them around here.

the price is more like 6.00 a pad a week or so I only use 1 a week
( Im tired of tanks!!)
there must be something going on I know my meter works:joint:

they probably do work well in such a small space
someone could probably run a few of them and only cost 10-15 bucks a week

for larger applications...

where you find 36? it said 25 a bag, and needed to be replaced weekly..

Their are 5 pads to a pack. 1pack(5pads)=25.00+shipping

You guys convinced me to do it the right way. Im sure the tank is going to be the way for me. One question I have is in a sealed room how would you control the himidity. I have a growtent(4x4) and I cannot fit a dehumidifier in their. Maybe I can cycle my exhaust every couple hours? At night is when the humidity spikes the most and thats when the CO2 will be off.... I just dont want any mold on those CO2 pumped buds.

Humidity was between 40-65+%
Yes they are the same ones
I bought them at west coast hydroponics in Orange County
I also saw them at 2 other stores
I left them in more than 2 weeks
untill it looked like i was hanging laundry!
I did see a big differecne in the clones and increased node growth = more bud sites=better yield on SOG
the nuggets are tite and ready to light!!
