 guys

i recently helped a friend put together this closet and he insisted on adding CO2. neither of us have any experience with CO2 so i hope some of you guys can help. to start off with the clost is 30"deep and 96"long and 84"tall. that is 20sq ft or 140cu ft. the closet will be sealed but has a can style carbon filter up top for occasional venting.

this is the CO2 injector and its made for a small room (50-500cuft)
CONTROL WIZARD CO2 INJECTION SYSTEM 0.1-1 Cubic Feet per Hour

here is where he needs help, when should he start using the injections, first day of flower or what? i have found an online calculator to estimate how much flow and how often but i cant seem to find any basic info on co2 and is uses.

I have a 4x2 cab called BOB. I flowered in BOB at the usual 9-9 cycle and flloded the cab every 3 hours 12,3,6 for 15 minutes each. I have read and seen the stomas open the most at around 85 degrees allowing your girls to suck up all that wonderful gas you are feeding her. To achieve this I simply shut down the fans 15 minutes before the shots and all was well. You happy zone is their and every room is different so good luck and Have A Nice Day.

some general co2 info... http://progressivegardens.com/growers_guide/co2.html
take note that all 3 aspects of the environment need to be there in order for co2 to be effective...temps, humidity, and light...

Doesn't seem you have A/C in there so it may get a bit hot between co2 injections...you need to give them enough time to absorb the gas before you vent out the hot air out...if you had an air-cooled hood or cool tube you could vent the hood seperately from the grow and really have a sealed environment.

Another thread you should read that was really helpful to me is here: http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=30255

well what do you need to know exactly? i have a 72 cubic feet of space in my cab, so with my flow meter set on 1 cubic ft p/hr I'll have it run for ~ 4 minutes every 4 hours.

You need to get an intermatic digital timer so you can have it programmed to turn on and off for short periods of time

You can use co2 all the time, not just for flowering...if your room is sealed your gonna need to supply the co2 whether they are in flower or veg, ya dig?
