My air ppm is roughly 350 to 450 without co2 supplementation. I have a gen hooked up. What would be the ideal ppm during veg. I heard you don't want to go too high or you increase your chance of hermies. I'm currently at 850 while testing out my co2 gen. What do you think?
I think unless you have a generator in the flowering room you should do the old switcheroo.I've been using co2 enrichment for years and its not just necessary in my case to increase co2 in veg. They do great without it.Just like they veg fine with standard MH lamps instead of the expensive horticultural veg lamps. Its during flower that you want horticultural lamps and to keep a constant 1500PPM at 80-85 F for results that are measurable.Co2 on a controller during flower that is the objective
Then I would say 1500PPM seems to be what most use its what I use in the flower room.Remember you need at least 50 watts/sq.ft and canopy temps around 85 degrees F.
"Start the PPM on your Co2 computer at about 1100 PPM for week 2. Every week bump it up 200 PPM. Some stains grow faster than others. The highest my Co2 ever gets is 2200 ppm and thats only if they look like they can handle it. My Co2 is turned off for the last 2 weeks." -TRANOBLE
