CO2 Blackbox?

Hello all,

I found this thing on ebay and was wondering if anyone has one or knows about it. Its made by bay-tech and its called the CO2 Little Blackbox. They claim it can generate enough co2 to contiuously supply a 10 by 10 greenhouse and increase yields by 35%. They don't say what level it will keep the co2 at.
I'm not sure how it works either but it doesn't require electricity or controllers
or gas. I think it uses fuel oil. Seems like if it worked, one could build their own.

It's just a white gas (aka coleman fuel) burner...and that shit ain't cheap (around $7 a gallon here)....so yes it adds heat, and no it's not cheap for what it does - not to mention that lack of precision since it's not regulated via a relay that can be put on a timer.

I couldnt pull it up,but one of the main aspects of co2 enricment is keeping a steady high PPMs with little fluctuations,if the black box doesnt have a dual timer to control length and frequency of burn,there's no way to know what the hell its doing

I just read that pretty extensively and its not something a serios person would use,exactly what is "up to 1500PPM" mean?It has no way to time frequency and duration of burn,it just burns continuosly?You gotta be kidding lol.Even if you matced the box to the size room perfectly,I wouldnt trust it to keep a steady high PPM's,no way.Its not cheap either!I dont know what their talking about.For another 100 bucks you can get a propane burner,then a cyclestat for another hundred.

I think I made one of those things in middle school. That product sucks ass. A monkey could have made a better website. How hard is it to find a newbie web program. These guys really suck ass.

Thanks for the replys guys. You're right, if they really had something good and it worked, they would be proud to say exactly what it would produce. I guess I already knew it was no good, just needed someone else to confirm it for me.

Shit up to 1500PPM can be 5PPM,do they think people are stupid?This is for brand new to inside growing people who have never used co2 before and dont understand it too well.
