Co2 and proper ventilation

How ventilated can a room be and still leave adequate Co2 for about 2-4 plants in a room about 300 Q/ft room. I intend to have my Co2 source as close to the plants as possible. I am not going to be able to go big with a timed/regulated Co2 system so it will more then likely use a constant either home made or purchased system like THIS one. I will want maximum yield in the least amount of time but will need to be able to vent out any lovely flowering aromas

I am going for the same goal you are bro. Unfortunatly from my reading over the past months preparing for this show I haven't found anyone reporting quantifiable success with fermentation CO2 sets. From my research it goes fermentation bucket<timer/regulator and test kits<regulator/ppm monitor. Good luck with you grow man.

So I looked over your project and you are running a Co2 setup, is this correct? Are you telling me a fermentation (I assume this is a constant Co2 like I posted) is no good? Is this because of ventilation, or just too much Co2? Or is it a Co2 quality thing?

I have a few videos I watched about a year ago when I was first planning this. The one I have was a guy disguised in a fishing hat and green painted skin (I can't remember the name). He was not only using a nice timed Co2 setup but also sprayed his crop with carbonated water once a day. There is a natural Co2 release when you do this.

Would spraying mine with the carbonated water be better then no Co2 at all?

i found a old regulator today at a garage sale for a dollar

it doesn't control enough to dial in a small space so i found this..

Sorry for the delay in replying. I am running CO2, but I won't start until the 2nd wk flowering. I have a 20lb tank/reg/controller w/fuzzy logic. From my reading over the months I have seen very little support for using fermentation as a CO2 source. Mainly because there is no regulation ability and testing is a pain with the tubes (although there may be an eaiser method to test). Next best method is with a standard timer & regulator, at least that way you'll be able to tell how long you're releasing the CO2. An electronic PPM meter is really the only way to effectively use CO2.

I would go with carbonated water, folliar watering is a good thing. Good luck figuring out your setup Bro.
