co² what are the options..

Hey ICMAG! Damn, I <3 this place...always good for info and learning new things!

Well here's the situation, my plants are currently in veg but in a week they will be flowering.

I'm doing a small grow and I wonder.

What are my options for co² enrichment, except breathing, singing or talking to my plants?

Best way is either bottled C02 or a propain burner,but you can make C02 with yeast sugar and water or bicarbonate of soda and vinigar for small room's.

i would not recomend the tabs- they dissolve very fast and can be costly. Ur best bet would be sugar and yeast fermantation. Dry ice in stryofoam cups work o.k. Good luck

I don't know much about using co2, ut had always thought that this was something you do during veg rather than flower.

I'm sure this may be out of range for a smaller grow but don't forget to check eBay for c02 set ups. I couldn't use mine in the C13 but the price was so cheap I couldn't pass it up! IMO it's the only way to efficiantly saturate your area with a steady supply. Search for soda fountain set ups, much cheaper and nearly identical.

The only way for co2 to be effective is if you can acquire a constant high co2 PPM 1000-2000,the only way to do this realistically is to use a tank and regulator or a burner,those two are yor options.Also you must have optimum lighting and nutrition,environment( temp. and humidity),so many factors need to be considered before co2 is introduced to the grow lest it be a waste of your time.

hi ...I think co2 enrichment is a gr8 idea ...and there are many ways this can be done.....from dripping vinegar into bicarb of soda...to co2 bottles to paraffin burners and many other ways....they do grow alot faster normally fitting in 1+ extra grows over the year as long as you can maintain the PPM's ...I will be using Co2 Bottles myself..or will Be , getting hold of the bottles will be the biggest nightmare Cost Wise (Over the Year) and Also The Amount Of Bottles Needed Over The Year...people start to notice...also the Co2 emitters don’t come cheap

I think if u could keep the co2 regulated using another Technique other Than bottle I would use one of them...although saying that The Bottles are very practical.
