This is my project as a noob , and i feel quite i may be in over my head, but the plan goes like this 2 600w hps in the flowering room above a 2' x 4' SOG ebb and flow table. The mother plant will be kept in this room in a small nook (LED OR 2' T5) in the wall. the closet next to it will be used as the cloning garden utilizing a diy ez cloner beneath a 4' t5 strip. also plan on running the ventilation through the top of that closet. this is my second grow ever and just want to get it right. mostly worried about ventilation and heat.

The biggest problem will be the heat, and the size of fan will also depend on the ambient temperature of your area. If it is a cold place, then you might get away with it, but if the ambient temp is already high and you don't have A/C, then 2 x 600W HPS will be too much in that space, more like 1 x 600W HPS with a good fan would be possible.
Looks like it going to have to be 1000w(my friend is letting me borrow one of his so that would be best for my wallet) if thats even possible. What size fan might work? i think the room is 140 cubic feet minus the nook the ambient temp of the house is about 75 degrees right now but our mild "winter" has not hit
If you don't have the money to do this setup proper, with a little left over for the things you haven't considered, then you should definitely take it a little slower and scale up. Save your money during the first round or two in the smaller setup then grow out of that to these plans.
No sense in spending $900 on a setup that won't work well, or is a hassle, when $1200 would do it perfect.

Hydro is the absolutely worst idea for newbies to embark on. Keep it simple and go with dirt at first. You eliminate 50% of any issues you might run into, and believe me you will.
Yeah i've been rethinking it too probably just going to experiment with a hydro bucket and scrog technique. the rest will be soil for now.
Looks like the closet is just going to be a veg room for now and going to flower in a tent. will keep updated
