new to this site so i figured i'll show my rig. my water set up.

reservoir and tubs

5 air stone per tub. top drip ring. air stone hung in center of root mass to keep things clean

600watt hps air cooled light mover. hot exhaust air is pushes out into ceiling to heat aquarium.

yep, mainlined to 8 then grow out and cut to 16. couple needed to be topped again to control the canopy. love the mainline control. real even quality through out.

thanks hicksticy. this post was mostly for my set up since it has been so time since i set this up. i believe the strain in the photo was critical sensi star.

outofthecloset, how much extra time, if any, does main lining take during veg?

i don't think it take anymore time during veg for me, i always trim in veg. best is after you get your manifold set, there really is not much cutting needed. always trimming over growth but there is less with mainlining. you thinking about trying it Timmur? i have 3 runs with mainlining completed, can not see going back to uncontrolled growing.
