The damn utility pulled the smart meter saying that they detected a surge and it took five days to get the power restored mostly dealing with the utilities red tape. Five days of darkness in mid flower stressed the plants some and there were a few hermies resulting in a few seeds. Luckily it was deep enough into the cycle that most seeds didn't mature.
Everybody was all stressed that the consumers would be complaining and that there would be some static.
Waited for the news and not a peep.
Finally asked some customers for feedback on the crop and the consensus was "wow I bonused and got a couple of seeds I'm gonna grow the fuckers out next season"

When the lights go out all you need is just enough light to keep the photoperiod open. Low lighting is better than nothing. You can get by with just a few watts until the power is turned on again. A few watts is better than total darkness.
