Cloning???

I just went and bought the rapid rooter plugs and the dome to go over the top. I am trying to make clones. I also have a jar of root tech. Can anyone give me some pointers on how to make some clones? I am trying. The only light I have right now to put over them is one of those florecents that are round and screws into a lamp just like a regular light bulb, 25 watts. But the light is not really florecent. What kind do I need? Do I mist them with water, or what? I really need some advice. Please Help!!!
Thankz

Get a fluro if ya can. Spray em, then let the dome keep the moisture in inside.
Make sure they are in a warmer place too.

Dont spray the cuttings themselves, keep the inside of the dome well misted you want a humid environment not wet cuttings.Keep dome on and well misted for the first week,on the 8th day remove the dome twice for about 10 minutes or until they wilt whichever comes first. The next day leave the dome off a little longer,by day 10-12 you'll have roots

Heres how I make clones using Rapid Rooters:

1. Soak the RRs in water overnight or get them moist but not drenched.
2. Take the RRs and a nail, turn the RR over and push a new hole into the bottom of it. (the pre-existing hole is too big).
3. Space the RRs out in your tray.
4. Get yourself a cutting from the mother plant no less than 1'' long.
5. Use the razor and lightly scrape the outside of the stem near the base (this is scarification and helps the rooting gel make contact) -- not necessary but I do it.
6. Dip the base of the cutting into the rooting gel/powder.
7. Stick the cutting into the hole you made in the RR.

Thats all there is to taking a clone. The next part is just maitenance. I like to put a little water in the bottom of the propagation tray to keep the humidity up and I also mist the inside of the dome whenever its drying up. I usually wait about 3-5 days before taking the dome off for any extended period of time. But after about a week the dome should be taken off for about 10-15 minutes everyday to harden them up. After 7-12 days you should have roots and you can now transplant into your soil/hydro system.
As far as a light, I would get a CFL (compact fluorosent). They go into the same outlet that youre talking about but provide much more light.
Good luck and I hope this helps.
