I don't know about cloning entire branches, but I do prefer multi-tipped cuttings over single growtip cuts. They sometimes take a tad longer to root but start out as little bushes

I believe you can root whole branch by air-layering, but WHY????
Another weird stoner idea? :D

Why not just genetically engineer 'smart pot' that clones itself ?

Go read the Bonsai Mom thread and .. be enlightened my son.

the search feature is in general pretty useful. Don't be scared to use the 'Advanced' search.. ohh ahh

that way i dont have to wait for the clone to mature and be able to let it flower

It'll just take longer to root, just stick to standard size clones and veg them out. Not to mention it would be harder to clone a 100 "branches", it would take up lots more room. If you're running a SOG grow then you wouldnt have to veg for very long anyways.

Wait...What?

Once you get the knack of cloning, it won't matter whether your cuttings are large or small. Large ones just take longer.

And you can flower a cutting once it is rooted. I HAVE to do that with the lanky sativa I work with, otherwise it stretches above the lamp. The Dutch SOG-style growers do it that way anyway.
