Cloning under 12/12?

Is it possible to root and flower a clone in one step under a 12/12 photoperiod? I am tying to avoid building a clone box if I have to, and wonder if this is something even worth experimenting with?

It's possible but there will be some issues. And the results will largely depend on the individual plant and it's how photo-receptive it is.

If you take a cutting from a flowering plant, it will have to cease flower production and channel it's energy into root production. Once it has formed a strong enough root base then it should start flowering again. This will take a long and may not happen at all, again depending on the photo-receptivity of the particular plant.

The other issue is that if it roots and starts flowering, without at least a couple days veg time to get it going, you will likely end up with tiny, tiny plants, but this will also depend on the particular plant.

Just build a clone box, you really don't need much....hell, even a 10w fluorescent in a shoe box will do.

I tried it a few times, very hard.. plants don't like it.

Just rooting clones takes very little light but they seem to need the veg cycle. You can make a really simple rubbermaid box and throw in a few CFL and a computer fan and have a veg box.

build yourself a small box with a 10 w cfl if ya want to do it right. It'll be so much more worth it in the end.

I've tryed it with mostly indica's and you end up with a 1" bud that proberly doesn't weight a gram.Equatorial sativa's should work alot better.
