Everybody has thier own methods of cloning. Some may root clones in just water or some may root them in a soiless media. What do you use to root your clones? I've been using just perlite but next time I'm going to use vermiculite, perlite, and alittle peat moss.

spend the cash and get an ez-cloner or do a DIY you'll never regret it....my survival ratio stunk before i invested in one...now i'm close to 100%.

no one can get 100% i don't care what they say....maybe if you only do a few clones every now and again sure u might get 100% but eventually you won't....i'm talking about filling a 120 ez-cloner 4-5 times a year. if you can do 5-6 hundred clones and get 100% then ur the man. if u do alot of clones it's almost impossible to get 100% but if it takes you 5 years to do 120 clones and only a couple die then your still doing good. same with anything though....the more quanity you do of something the more chance u have of something going wrong or sometimes good lol

previously i've always used rockwool, with 90-95% success (taking 40+ clones at a time). this is my first time ever using 50/50 vermiculite/perlite.

I have been using rapid rooters, but this time I am going to try ver/perlite because I have to travel 100 miles to get the rr.....

I just took some clones and used 60% Sunshine mix #4 / 40% perlite in 3" containers.
It's taken me a while to get the hang of cloning and even still I had a tough time a month back with a strain that I have been normally able to clone pretty well. I don't think my mother plant had been getting enough light at the time though - not sure if that would affect anything.

Peat pellets...

I've rooted probably 12 clones and haven't lost one yet. I get roots in 14-17 days... 17 being a TINY clone I took (I'm talking about 1 inch tall, if that)

All i do is soak rock-wool in rooting hormone an then put some hormone on the clone n pop it in.....i've probly only done this about 15 times cuz im pretty new but ive only lost 3 clones so i guess it works.
