Hi!!,
I am having a hard time cloning lately, and my clones that I tryed taking of my BLZ Bud lady didn't work. I am on my 7th week of flower-what should I do? Can I clone her somehow? Thanks for your help everyone! :comfort:

When a plant is in late flower mode it might be harder, or take longer, but it can be done.
Do you have the space to reveg her if it fails?

I am with you, but mine are 5 or 6 weeks in. I got one to root that was picked 2 or 3 weeks into flowering, but killed it, so here I am. I just keep trying different recommendations and figure eventually one method will stick. You probably already know there is a bunch of advice on cloning here if you search, so... Good luck!

since your clones didn't take i'd re-veg after you harvest, then you can clone that and try again. lots of threads on revegging if you do a search.

yes reveg thats what you need to do that far into flower...When I take cuts in flower it takes at least 2x longer then veg clones to root. Reveg takes a long time to. make sure yo leave some nice buds on the plant to get a good start on the reveg...I chop the hole plant but 1 nice branch at the bottom...

Take a cutting that is healthy and has the least amount of bud on it, usually somewhere on the bottom of the plant that still is getting decent light. Use nutrients in the water while trying to root. Then, try and reveg the plant. This way you have two chances of bringing her back for another crop. Just an idea.

In addition to the above, you might want to give air-layering a try. It wont hurt anything currently growing, so nothing to lose. :)

Seen someone root a cut that had a bud on it. Anything is possible as long as you dont have to do it. GL and plz post your results. So whats the deal. root a cut then it has to reveg? Again GL

It will work, don't worry about it....just takes a bit longer. Then a veg phase.

I had to do it and killed several cuts trying, but yay!, I finally got one of the flowering (my very first I might add) cuts to stick and shoot some roots out of the bottom of some rock wool. I should get one more because the other I did at the same time is looking equally good. Not sure what I did different. The sad part is that I gave up on myself and ponied up for a cheap-ass DWC bucket just for cloning.... That's probably why the cutting took....LOL. I assume the answer to the one question I had about monster clones (do you get a monster clone if you clone a monster cutting mother) is NO and will take that as the gospel unless someone corrects me.

I took some cuts last night, will clone them later today. I procrastinated a little, she is in her 7.5 wk of flower. I will let you know how I make out in 9 or 10 days. Thanks for all the input, and help! Happy toKin!

I think you might be talking about monster cropping which is cloning from deep flower when they reveg they throw tons of branches making a nice bush like if you defoliate a few times.

your probably not going to see roots in 9 - 10 days but rather 20 - 30 days :) just take a shit load of clones from lower part of plant should get a few to root and like above posts said once harvest comes just leave some lower bud sites and leafs on and re vert her back to veg on 24 hr lighting it will take a while and plant will look pretty screwed up but she will come back with a shit load more of branches and one crazy looking plant :tiphat:
