cloning in flower? stunted plants

I took some clones from flowering plants that were about 3 weeks in(cant remember exactly) and its been about a month since they rooted and are stunted, and not putting out any new growth. I am wondering how long it will take them to revert and start normal vegetative growth again, even though there was almost no flower formation on them when I took them, as they were bottom shoots. Ive reveged plants before, but these seem to be taking a long time to recover.

Ive got some flowring plants that are about 10 days in that I am thinking about taking some clones off the bottom, but am worried they will just end up being stunted like last round. You think 10-12 days is early enough that they will avoid being stunted?

It takes a long time for them to grow normal. Then when they do its all goofy, branches just grow from everywhere.

It' s Called Monster Croping, when clones are taken in flower the clone will produce extreme branching and can be used to your benefit to grow a top heavy plant, growth will be slower at first but produce more in the end, hope this helps, good luck

Hi headees. I regularly take cuttings up to 14 days into 12/12. They generally root in 10 - 14 days and by 4 weeks are growing normally. I've never taken clones beyond 14 days of flower but would expect them to take a bit longer to normalize. Good luck.

Yea I remember reading about monster cropping now that I think about it, that is a gnarly looking plant there for sure.

Bummer though, Im turning these into moms, and its the only few cuttings I have of the keeper I found in a seed run. Oh well I guess Im just going to have to run something else next round.
