cloning, have i done it correctly?

hi, ive just attempted my first try at cloning, heres what i did.

first i cut the clone and placed it directly into water. i then removed all the leaves and cut the stem while there. i also scored the stem a little to help with the roots. id pre soaked some rockwool in 2ml of formulex and 5ml of nitrozyme. it had dried so i gave it a damping with 2ml formulex and 1 drop superthrive per litre. once i dipped the clones in the rooting hormone i placed them in the rockwool and sprayed the leaves with water. i then placed them in a heated propagator. its very humid and theres loadsa water on the plastic cover. does this sound ok? i made 5 snow white clones in all. thanks ever so much

peace

First you say you cut all the leaves off then you said you sprayed the clones..it doesnt sound like you did wrong if you didn't cut all the leaves off. I hear that cutting the cutting at a acute angle seems to work.. Although i don't think you keep a lot of water in it. Just moist. Also give a weak, constant light source.

im sorry i explained that wrong, i took all the leaves off bar the top 2 and grow shoot. i also cut at 45 degree. thanks for the reply, does this sound right then?
