Cloning gel shelf life

How long does this stuff stay viable? I found some sealed root tech that's been sitting in a drawer for around 3 years. Should I roll the dice or buy some more?

Test it on a couple first. I never trust the stuff the first time after hearing about Kevin Jodrey's crew losing a lot of clones one day, using a bottle the company screwed up the concentration of the batch on.
