Cloning from plants in bloom

I fooled around and did not take clones until the plant went into bloom. Is it too late to clone? If I do, what would be the result?

I'm not a clone oriented person, but if the plant is not too far into flower you can still take clones, they'll probably take longer to root as they have to revert back to veg (advisable keeping the fluoros on 24/0) before they begin to root. I successfully cloned a pure landrace sativa as well as hybrids from plants that were 17 days into flower. Using honey as a rooting medium and in peat pellets they rooted in exactly 14 days.

No problems,

After they root, which should be 10-20 days, they will still put out preflowers on their new growth, then revert back to veg.

Here are mine, I cut them when I saw sex in flowering, they have rooted now and are doing great,

You can takes clones no problem, the longer a plant is in flower the long it will take a clone to root...

My 2 cents...

Yes, and the plant will get pretty bushy after it starts growing again, with a shoot practically everywhere there was a pistil. It will take a while to get back to veg stage.

Or you could wait until harvest time, leave a few of the lowest branches with leaves and buds intact, and throw the plant into 24-0 to reveg the whole thing. I've done this a few times but it is a real pain, although it helps to trim the roots as harshly as the top otherwise you end up with a root bound plant before rebudding starts.
