Cut off a piece of new growth. No need to trim the leaves, no need for any rooting gels/powders, no need to cut in an angle.

Put it in a vase so the stem is submerged in water but the leaves are not. Keep it in low light but with long days. Make sure it doesn't dry out from evaporation. No need for a dome, air pump, anything.. Plain tap water is fine (all taps aren't equal though).

Wait until it starts cannibalizing itself, this is your sign it has started rooting.

Can remember jars full of rooting cuttings on the windowcill when i was a kid , always done it with many species and it works well enougth.
With same clone it just takes three times longer than a dialed in bubbler , 8 days in cloner near 100% and 21days or longer in a jar.

It really speed up if you get a bit stabby on the stem , mostly rooted in 14 days like this.
