u do nothing...thats normal.....the clone is feeding off itself since it doesn't have roots to feed off.....how far is your light from the clones? i keep my light 36-40 inches from clones...u don't want them to use much photysynthisis until they get roots. u could trim them bigger leaves off if you want...that could help to....but it's normal for clones to get yellow...how long they been in there?

p.s....some of them are way to long...like the few that are falling over....u should take them out and recut them if you aren't to far along.

here's a link to 1 of my threads..check out post #379 it describes what i do.

You'll probably be fine with only 1 of those bulbs...clones don't need much light at all. Giving them too much will divert the plants energy into photosynthesis instead of root production. What was the health of the mother plant? Poorly fed moms can cause clones to show problems like that so make sure they get a good feeding a day or so before having clones taken. I like to remove all but the newest set of leaves and 1 set of leaves under them...seems to improve speed of rooting and reduces risk of wilting at the same time.

Honestly, if you're clones are healthy you shouldn't see much if any yellowing...as yellowing means that the plants energy is going into the wrong place.

What are the res & room temps and have you used any additives in the cloner?

Some of those look like they were in flower when you took them, which will take longer to root.

I would re-cut the tall ones and trim some of the leaves on all of them

people told me that....but then i tried it and got roots in 4 1/2 days...check my link above.

nah I mean, almost in every thread about cloning I see "do not take clones in flowering or it will take ages to get roots". So apparently this is bullshit? :chin:

edit: reading your link :chin:

all of my clones were from mothers that are in flowering all i added to my cloner was a feeding of green fuse root stimulator and i dipped the clones into cloneing gel before. the went in the cloner. I had no idea of what nutes to put in my cloner the guy at the hydro shop told me just to use superthrive. i didnt like that idea so i subsituted the superthrive for greenfuse root stimulator did i do it right i figure the clones will get roots eventually. its been 5 days and no roots. i figure its to early for the roots to form but should i start flipin out after day 14 with no roots?

hey dude

its pretty normall for the clones to turn yellow. they are just taking from the leaf to live. my do it most of the time and they all turn out. you should have cones ready to go in about 10 days with your current set up as long as you can keep the temps right around 75 anything in 60 is no good. and no roots will grow. Temps are key to your success!!!!!!! godlcuk

oh and when your cloning like this u dont need to add anything in the water other than a rooting compound. you can still over fert them and then youll be in trouble.
thats why i dont add any nutes just rooting compound.

yeah i was kinda worried about the "long" rooting time everyone was talking about....so when i seen roots in 4 1/2 days i was shocked....i suppose alot of it had to do with the strain but that was the first time i ever took cuttings that far into flowering...they were at day 41 of flowering when i took them.

you don't need to use any sort of nutes for clones....they have no roots so they can't use them......thats why they are yellowing....feeding of themselves like i said earlier.

i did notice mine yellowed faster then normal with the flowering cuts...i figure thats because my 41 day flowering females were already low on nitrogen since i was so far along into flowering and mainly feeding phosphorous.

just sit back and be patient...as long as they aren't dead your doing alright....as soon as you get roots and get them in soil/hydro they will recover fast....good luck

Speaking from personal experience it usually takes a little longer though this is not always the case, I take clones from flowering plants all the time due to space restrictions and they usually take anywhere from 2 to 5 days longer to root depending on the strain.
