Clones MUST veg??

Hey, I just flipped to 12/12 and want to take some clones. However, I only have a flower room right now, no veg. chamber. Can I throw these clones into the flower room without any veg. at all or is it a MUST that they veg. a bit to root?? Thanks

They will not root under 12/12. Grab a cheap CFL from home depot and run it 24/7 or 18/6 somewhere else.

as long as they are well rooted then u can put em straight in to 12/12

you will definatly need to root them before going to 12/12

As the doc and Leeroy said, as soon as there's roots you can flower them, but the smaller they are, the smaller your yield will be. A large healthy rootmass is the key to large buds.

I have flowered fresh cuts in the aerocloner before but i wasn't looking for yeild just playin around with different sexing processes.

Thanks everybody. I am not looking for huge yields off of them either Texas Kid. So, Tex, you threw them directly into flower, no veg whatsoever?? What were your yields?? How big were plants?? Doc, KRS, and Leeroy are saying that I have to veg. to get them to root at all. What's the deal? Peace

I did it solely for the purpose of sexing, I didn't take it to full harvest

Take your cutting, dip it in a simple ORGANIC honey/water solution, through it in a plug, keep it under a small plastic dome/cover, wait two weeks and you should have a nice mass of roots. Through that plug under 12/12 and you'll be good to go! OH

Henry-I never heard of anyone using organic honey/water solution. Do you use rooting hormone on top of this stuff? What is a plug? You, mean those peat pellets? Also, what kind of light are you veggin. with when you use this method, or are you saying that you just give them light from a window or something while they are in the dome those two weeks? ok ... I too have rooted some cuts and vegged them now in 24-0 for 2 weeks .... the problem is I started a seed just 2 days before the cuts arrived its now 2 wweks old aswell .... can I put it into flower at 2 weeks? its only 4-5 inches.....
Obviously no preflowers.... he he he he

Depends,some strains strech like fuck when switched.Its ok to put it into flower now.Yeild wont be very big though!

I have rooted clones in 12/12 before. Flowering clones from 21 days. But yeah if you want big buds you need big roots and the only way to get them is to veg a bit

Some say they root faster 12/12..... But I havent tryed it myself as they would require time to revert back.
I soak my cubes overnight in ph'd water,also I let my cuts sit atleast overnight before placeing in cube.Rooting hormone lies within the stem and adding hormone sometimes can be fatal so I dont find it nessasary yet helpfull with some cuts. Id give em aleast aweek vege.
