Clone's / Motherplants

1st off im a new medical user in California. It has been quiet evident that Seeds are unatainable through mail order in the U.S . With this being said I have been left no choice but to turn to my local collective in seek for quality clones. Amongst my journey i have obtained Two SkyWalker Og clone's and they are doing amazing so far. My question for all you experts out their is quiet simple. Is it possible to have a mother plant from a clone. Anotherwords can i simply Veg one of my clones indefinately let it grow super bushy and tall and harvest quality clones from this plant. The reason i ask this is because i wish to obtain several quality strains for personal use and will be doing lots traveling to do so in search of quality genetics since mail order is out of the question. From what ive heard it is not impossible to order seeds.

But to answer your question is yes...... u can create a mother plant from clones just fine

All my mother plants are from clones. That way I know they are all girls and have the characteristics I desire. They are all genetically identical.

why is mail ordering out of the question? ive gotten EVERY SINGLE ORDER from seedbay and seedboutique, its in no way a 'crapshoot'

Thanks guys for taking time to give me a little input on this topic. I cant wait to post some pics of my girls. I have them under 19 hrs of light and 5 hrs of darkness. Im grow'ing in soil that i custom made. I started off with a base of plain super soil, then added one part bat guano one part earthworm castings, pearlite, vermiculite also added some hydrotron to mix for air. I have been feeding them a lovely dose of nutes provided by General hydroponics "Flora Nova" one-part grow plant food 7-4-10. All in all im looking good my girls smell dank as hell and are not even showing any fruits. Im using two floresets lights each with one warm white bulb and one cool white bulb. I plan on switching to a 400 watt hps during my fruit cycle. I am planing on utilizing a ebb and flow system after this grow is done and possibly gearing towards a aeroponic system in the future after i get my system under control.... Underjoyed

Hey sounds like you've got a great home for your moms. I have 5 bonsai moms on the go right now under 2 2' t5HO lights. They don't need to be big to produce a lot of cuttings, they are all 1 L square pots and stand about a foot tall each. Topped seedling at the second node and then began training them to stay low and compact by tying down those 4 main branches. A couple of them are a little scraggly looking so all I need to do to start a new mom is take a clone, and repeat the process. We won't be growing any more of that strain for a while so I have time to get a good mom going again. So to answer your question, yes you can use those clones as moms. It won't weaken the genetic, it will be identical to its mom in every way. Good luck

Thanks Everyone thats awesome to hear from you guys i appreciate everyone's comments/ feed back. Im still gonna try and get some seeds though to grow/ mother from. Mainly because out here in los Angeles it seems like their are lots of collective offering meds/ clone's witch is cool, However it seems like they all make up their own names to try and market their herbs and that kind of frustrates me cause i like to know exactly what im smoking not to mention it floods the market with a bunch of non sense and i feel it take's credit away from the breeder and growers who work hard to develop new strains and supply us all with quality clones/meds and or herb to smoke and enjoy just my thoughts no offense i know everyone has their own opinion but i thought id share what i feeling right now. So on i go in search for some quality seeds
