Hi all
I obtained 2 clones on 5/21 that had been rooted in rockwool and transplanted into party cups with soil. They looked healthy with green stems & leaves but after transplanting into larger containers with supersoil & 30% pearlite they started getting droopy w/ purplish stems. The leaves are also getting light green.
I thought I overwatered them so I let the soil dry out a bit but this did not help them to perk back up. Up until this point I had been watering once a day with tap water & superthrive which seemed to be keeping the soil at a good moisture level. I also sprinkled a teaspoon of epsom salts on the soil top. Still looking sad and light green, I gave them a light dose of sensi grow (this time using my new RO water) which had no effect. The soil says it will feed for up to 45 days so I thought that would be good enough to keep these small clones healthy for a few weeks.
Basically they look like something minor is wrong but none of my attempts are making them any worse/better. I'm thinking it's either the supersoil or my pH is way off (pH pen is on its way) maybe a combo. I have a few harvests under my belt using wally world continuous feeding soil and a few using DWC hydro but never had as many problems as now w/ this supersoil.
Thanks for any suggestions. I'll snap some pics when I get home.
