they tend to look real wired and takes a long time to revert back to veg when you take a clone from a flowering plant. i can be done but it tends to stress the plant as they are not use to going back to veg from flower. keep ypur eye out for hermies.

I'm gonna use two of these for Mothers.

I just found couple seeds in my buds! I must of had a hermie and missed it. It got so thick in room that I couldn't see middle plants

I've not had any hermies from reverted plants. I think this might happen if you tried to revert a whole flowering plant back to veg. :chin:

It takes just as long to root a cut from a flowering plant than it does with a cut from a vegging plant. Only difference really is that the cut from the flowering plant will take a couple of weeks to sort itself out. First you'll find it growing leaves without serated edges like a normal bush or shrub you find in gardens. Then it'll go back to growing normal cannabis plant leaves.

The one big advantage to working with clones from flowering plants, is that it gives you multiple main colas. Not sure why this happens. I immagine it's because the flowering top it had died off, leaving it no other option than to grow in as many directions as possible, all at once. :chin:

So you'll end up with 4 or more main growing tops per plant, which can of course be topped again, making this thing a whole lot of fun. :D

Wow maybe thats what I got going,

Alex I started up some Bogglegum from seed. ( 5 Seeds/ 5 Plants) My intention was to make the females mothers, the store where I purchased the beans didn't provide alot of info, So I put them into 12/12 to determine sex (figured sexing cuttings would take that much longer)anyhow I determined I must have bought femed beans because I was 5 for 5 females. Yahoo. I took cuttings from my mothers which were partially into flower and now the clones(18) are all very bushy, lots of bud sites and no sign of a main cola
If what your saying is true DOUBLE YAHOO

Yea that's it.

It looks like what I described. On your pic, the plant in the front row, 2nd from the right. The leaves at the bottom are all single blade and smooth, no serrated edge.

First time I did it I freaked, but after a couple of weeks they're normal again.....it's like magic. :sasmokin:

I've been looking at the babies wondering if maybe , just maybe it wasn't pot beans the guy sold me but then I take a sniff and I settle down.LOL
I was just saying to my son a day or to ago that I've no main cola.
If the yield is excepional maybe I'll induce flowering on the mothers again (but do I risk hymies) ??javascript:void(0)

These ladys were cuts taken from a flowering plant at around 55 days 12/12 some time last november. Once they rooted I transplanted them into small pots (maybee 4-5" :chin:) and just left 'em to veg for about 2 months. I cut them back and tied them down repeatedly cause I just didn't have the room to flower them.

Here they are now at about 43 days 12/12

Here's what your clones will look like during reveg from flower.

Here's the later result if you reveg them completely before flowering again. Same plant :)

Doing it at the moment with some sour bubble(Bog),O.G kush(Cali kush seeds, which I must say were not S1 female seeds but still some good kush),
and some Super skunk(Sensi).
The further you take the cuttings into flower the quicker they grow out.
I took mine at 5 weeks flower and they showed true growth(not spastic growth) in 1 week after transplant.
Never had hermie problems doing this that's more a plant trait or environmental conditions.
Nice high nitrogen nutes help to revert them back to grow stage quicker.
This can be done up to 3-4 times as long as clone stock is healthy each time before showing any loss in yield or potency sometimes more depending on the strain

The Skywalker and Ultra Skunk clones that I took 15 days ago have roots shooting all out of the groden cubes, even on the tops of cubes. Gonna put half outside in a couple weeks. Guess I'll put them in soil in 4 inch pots till then and leave them under florescents. Also took my last clones at 5 weeks flowering, they'll be ready in 3 weeks. Only gonna put 18 in room in May. 24 was a bit tight.

I could have a problem

Alex
By chance, the technic you reg use as previously discussed has happened but I'm concerned that when these buds realy fill out they'll touch each other and I may have a mold problem. Has this been an issue???

Hey, Alex!! I do the same thing. I just don't like messing with mothers. I can use tiny area for clones and keep most of the space for flowering.
Macster, Are those bubble buckets you're running? They look nice and tidy. Plus they look to be smaller than 5 gallons.
Looking good...
