Clones for transport

i will be moving shortly and dont want to lose some of my clone stock. the trip will be no more than 48hrs, then i have to set up shop which will probably be a rubbermaid with a couple cfls to root the clones. right now my clones are a couple weeks old from root and have another few weeks left to veg. i want to bush out the clones and take 4-6 clones from each.

my question is can clones (freshly cut) last 3-4 days without light?

i was thinking of cutting the night before...then dunkin them in root powder...wrap paper towel around series of clone tips, wet of course...throw them into plastic ziplock and mist water in the bag as well...store away in a safe place and then in 3-4 days take them out and try to root them.

Addition question: does there have to be airways in the ziplock?

any suggestions on how to keep their longevity would be much appreciated!

ahhh i knew i forgot something. right now they are just being tied down to try to produce more branches. this isnt working thus far. i was going to continue this for the next few weeks but i was wondering if supercropping would help? i dont want to lose a week of growing by using the supercrop thats why i chose to lst but im afraid i wont have enough branches to take clones from.

also should i induce flowering a week before taking the clones so that theyll stretch more?

I leave cuts in the fridge for up to a month sometimes before rooting them. That should give you some thoughts on what you can do with the cuts. I wouldent induce flowering because then youll have to turn them back.

hmm... i didnt know they could survive in the cold like that. so would my ziplock idea work or would i have to put all clones in a cooler or something filled with ice?

yaa i have sent many a friend away with just that approach. Ziploc baggies with most of the air removed and in a cooler with ice, as long as they stay cool, you could drive around with them for a month. Just open the baggies once a week or so , let in a lil fresh air, remove most air again and put back . Crisper perferably if your going the extended fridge route.
